DIRECTIONS / LOCATION
The GUEST HOUSE is in a small coffee farming community called Middleton (Settlement), a lush area rich with fruit trees, rushing rivers and foliage of all kinds. The GUEST HOUSE is about 40 minutes from the Reggae capital of the world, Kingston, Jamaica. It is located a short distance down a winding rough rural back road off the main Newcastle Road. A backpackers paradise!
AIRPORT PICKUP: We are happy to make arrangements for you to be picked up from the airport and strongly suggest this is the best choice. A fee can be arranged with PRINCE VALLEY for airport pickup. Call: 1-876-892-2365
TRAVELING BY BUS: Buses are walking distance from the Norman Manley Airport. The bus will take you to downtown Kingston where you will then get another to Papine. Once in the town of Papine, in front of the Parkview Supermarket, you will need to get a route taxi or minibus in the Irish Town-Redlight-Middleton direction. Route Taxis cost about $2.50 US. [If you are using Public Transport in Papine you take a route Taxi to Settlement and tell them you want to go to PRINCE VALLEY GUEST HOUSE- at the end of Settlement Road.]
DRIVING ON YOUR OWN: From the town of Papine, leave Kingston on the Gordon Town Road. Make a left onto the Irish Town Road about two miles after Papine, following the signs for Newcastle /Strawberry Hill /Mount Edge and PRINCE VALLEY. You drive through Irish Town,then Red Light and continue on to Middleton. You will pass Mount Edge Guest House and continue to the first right hairpin turn at Bubbles Bar . At the end of the rough rural road in the little farming community of Middleton is PRINCE VALLEY GUEST HOUSE! (* There will be signs posted along the way.)
